In this guide we'll walk you through downloading the XOVA wallet app, creating your wallet, locking it down with a strong PIN, and — most importantly — safely writing down the 12-word seed phrase that controls everything inside it.
Before you start
Your seed phrase is EVERYTHING. Protect it like your life depends on it — and give it to NOBODY.
When you create your XOVA wallet you'll be shown a 12-word seed phrase. It is the only way to recover your wallet. Anyone with those 12 words can drain your wallet in seconds. Never share it. Not with friends, not with support, not with anyone.

Download XOVA & create wallet

Pick up your mobile phone — the whole setup is done on your phone.

Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android), search for "Xova Wallet", and tap Get / Install.

Once installed, open the app. You'll see two options — tap "Create New Wallet". (Don't tap Import — that's only if you already have a seed phrase.)

The very next screens will ask you to set a password and reveal your seed phrase. Do not continue inside the app yet. Tap Next below and read the security rules before you go any further.

Never screenshot it. Screenshots auto-sync to iCloud / Google Photos — that puts your seed phrase on a server you don't control.

Never type it anywhere digital — not Notes, not email, not WhatsApp, not Google Docs. Nowhere.

Never share it with anyone. Not XOVA support, not a moderator, not a friend. No one legitimate will ever ask for it.

Write it on paper, in order. Every word, correct spelling. Store it somewhere only you can access.

Make multiple paper copies stored in separate safe locations for extra protection.

If anyone ever asks for your seed phrase — block and report immediately.

Create your password

XOVA will ask you to create a passcode. Pick something memorable but not obvious — this unlocks the app on your phone every time you open it.

Write down your seed phrase

XOVA is about to show you 12 words. Write them on paper — do not screenshot or copy them anywhere digital.

XOVA will display your 12 words on screen, numbered 1 to 12.

On the same screen, write every word on your paper in the exact same order. Double-check spelling — one wrong letter and the phrase won't work.

When all 12 are written down and checked, tap "I've Written it Down" at the bottom of the same screen.

The words shown in the screenshot above are just an example. Your wallet will show different words — only yours matter.

Verify your seed phrase

XOVA will ask you to tap your words back in the correct order, starting with the 1st word.

When you see "Completed!", tick the box that says you've safely stored your seed phrase, then tap Confirm Seed Phrase.

You'll land on your wallet home screen. Balance is 0 — that's normal. You can now Receive crypto into this wallet using your address.

The string at the top (e.g. 0x1282...a77B) is your public address — safe to share when receiving crypto. The seed phrase you just wrote down is the private side — never share that.
